Will the person be notified when I search for them?
All your searches and inquires are 100% secure and confidential. No one is notified that you are using our service to investigate him or her.

Do your charge for your service?
We work hard to compile comprehensive reports based on the records and data we obtain from various courthouses, and proprietary sources. We have to pay for each record we acquire, but since we buy data in bulk, we can pass on the saving to our subscribers by offering reduced prices and unlimited access memberships.

How much do you charge for your service?
We offer a wide variety of report access options and trial memberships. Most member’s register for the no risk trial membership offer, this allows them to try out our service. Billing depends on the type of report access or membership option you sighed up for. If you purchased a single report you will only be billed for that single report. If you purchased any of our trial offers such as unlimited access trial you will be charged a fee on a monthly basis until the time you cancel your subscription. How can I get help with my account?
Our support team is here to help! Whether you need help locating your login information or retrieving your report we can always be reached via our support forms. When you send a support request through any of our customer support request forms you are generating a tech support ticket that gets automatically assigned to one of our professional product support staff members. All our support tickets are tracked and monitored for superior service quality. We will try to respond and resolve all of you questions and concerns as quickly as we can but we ask that you allow us upwards of 24 business hours just in case.

I need help with my login.
If you have forgotten your password simply visit our page and click on "Forgot Password" from there you can follow instructions on how to retrieve your password. If you need additional help with your password or to change your username please contact us.

How do I reset password
To change your password, please Login into your account and navigate to "My Account" tab. Click on Change Password link and enter your new password. If you have difficulties changing your password please contact our support team.

How do I access my report?
Please login to your account and follow these simple steps:
STEP 1: Once you are logged into the members' section, look towards the Account Menu on the left and select the “My Recent Searches” tab page. You will find all of the previously run reports within this section.
STEP 2: Simply select the report you would like to reference and click on the “Report” button to view download or print. Your search history will be saved for 90 days for your convenience.
If you do not see your report here you may request manual search assistance by clicking on the “Search Assistance” link within your Account Page. Please note: You have to be logged in to request search assistance.

Will I receive an email notifying me of the purchase?

Yes. You will receive two emails. One email will be from, which will contain your login information and another email from, our authorized payment processor, which will contain your purchase details.

At times our emails have known to mistakenly be directed to the users/customers junk/bulk folder so we strongly urge you to add and to your safe list of contacts. This will ensure that all of our emails will be safely received directly in your inbox and not mistakenly marked as spam. Please Contact Us if you do not receive your purchase emails within an hour of purchase.

Where can I fine my receipt/order number?
For each purchase you make you will receive an email from our bill processor containing your receipt/order number. is a secure and reliable company, which processes all of our payments. Your receipt/order number is also available within your member’s area account page.

How can I cancel my trial membership?
If you purchased a $1 or $4.95 dollar trial membership you may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting our customer support department. Once you have confirmed your desire to cancel to one of our support staff, your account is immediately canceled and you will receive a cancellation confirmation email within 24 hours. To stop rebilling prior to your first billing cycle you must contact us with your membership cancelation request before your trial expires. Your trial processing fee is used to process your trial subscription and is not refundable.

Please note: If you made a single report purchase and never upgraded to a trial membership you DO NOT have a trial account and will never be rebilled for our service.

How do I unsubscribe from receiving your marketing emails?
If you no longer wish to receive our promotional emails, you may simply request to "opt-out" of receiving these communications by contacting us with your request in detail. Simply contact our supports team with the details of your request. Please be sure to include the email address you wish to remove and be aware that opting out of our marketing list does not exempt you from receiving administrative emails, which include but are not limited to, notices about membership status changes and alterations to our Terms and Privacy policies as well as search assistance requests and dispute related communications.

Will I receive an official document? does not originate, provide, send, or issue any legal documents such as birth certificates, death certificates, divorce degrees and any other official documents. We are not affiliated with any government agency or law enforcement.

Will I receive a hard copy of my report in the mail?
NO. All search results and reports are displayed electronically, which you can either print or download.

What is included in my purchase?
After you make a purchase, you will gain access to our member's area where you will be able to run searches and access your report(s). The member's area combines the power of multiple data sources to deliver the most comprehensive Criminal Background reports in the industry.

Your access to certain reports or features within the member's area page may be limited by the report access pass you have selected during the registration process. Please refer to the "Member Options" disclosure within our Terms & Conditions page for further details.

How do I interpret my Criminal Background Report?
While our Criminal Background Reports can provide useful information about your search subject, we urge you to use extreme caution in interpreting the results of any report. False matches are possible and they do not provide confirmation of an individual’s criminal history or lack thereof.

CriminalAudit does not provide SSN and credit reports. is not a consumer-reporting agency as defined under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ("FCRA"), and the information obtained from our reports has not been collected in whole or in part for the purpose of furnishing consumer reports, as defined in the FCRA. You may not use the Websites or Data to: (a) establish an individual's eligibility for personal credit or insurance; (b) assess risks associated with existing consumer credit obligations; or (c) evaluate an individual for employment, promotion, reassignment or retention (including employment of household workers such a nannies, housekeepers, or contractors) or in conjunction with assessing the merits of entering into any other personal business transaction with another individual ("Unauthorized Purposes").

What type of information do you collect about me?

As a customer we will collect information that lets us know who you are, specifically information such as name, email and IP address. Providing us this information is fully optional but is required when making a purchase or submitting support or search request to our customer support department.

We do not access nor collect any of our subscribers' personal financial information, including credit card numbers or any other billing information.
